Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing using Playwright. A strong understanding of UI flows (Angular), REST APIs, SQL Server, Redis caching, and DevOps pipelines in Azure are required. This role demands ownership in test case creation, regression planning, defect tracking, and delivering high-quality, bug-free releases in a fast-paced SaaS product environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Author and execute comprehensive manual test cases across UI, API, and database layers.
  • Automate regression and smoke test suites using Playwright (JavaScript or Python preferred).
  • Perform functional, integration, and UAT testing for enterprise-grade WFM and AI-integrated applications.
  • Validate data integrity through SQL queries. Knowledge of Redis cache checks for high-read/low-variance data flows is an advantage.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, betting table) and QA estimation discussions.
  •  Maintain traceability between PBIs, bugs, and test cases for release confidence.
  • Collaborate with developers, tech leads, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless CI/CD integration in Azure DevOps.
  • Own defect lifecycle management with RCA and production impact analysis.
  • Create QA dashboards and burndown reports for internal and client-facing stakeholders.
  • Contribute to QA best practices, regression mapping, and cross-client scenario coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in software testing (manual + automation).
  • Knowledge of automation testing using Playwright (JavaScript or Python) preferred.
  • Proficiency in manual testing of Angular front-end and RESTful APIs.
  • Prefer SQL knowledge for backend data validation; experience with Redis is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test management, pipelines, and defect tracking.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and sprint-based test planning.
  • Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience testing workforce management, HRTech, or SaaS-based enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with Reveal BI SDK or embedded reporting testing.
  • Exposure to AI-based platforms and integration workflows.
  • QA certifications like ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, or equivalent.
