Educational Qualification: MBA – Finance or CA/CFA with NISM Capital Markets Certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee research initiatives with an exclusive focus on the FMCG sector .

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of FMCG industry trends, consumption patterns, regulatory changes, rural-urban demand drivers, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.

  • Build and maintain comprehensive financial models for FMCG companies - including historical and projected balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements - along with DCF or residual income-based valuations.

  • Analyze key FMCG metrics such as volume/value growth, gross margins, operating leverage, distribution reach, input cost trends, and brand strength.

  • Formulate actionable investment recommendations based on rigorous company and sector analysis.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients such as asset managers, pension funds, and private equity firms with an interest in FMCG sector investments .

  • Mentor and guide junior analysts in developing sectoral knowledge and analytical capabilities specific to the Consumer Goods industry .
