We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with proven leadership skills and deep technical expertise to join our growing engineering team. This opportunity is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and transparent DevOps processes.In this role, you will lead a small team of DevOps engineers, take charge of our Docker-based deployments, and establish streamlined Git workflows to ensure safe, repeatable, and observable production operations.You will work closely with cross-functional teams - including engineering, QA, and product - to drive DevOps excellence and infrastructure reliability across the organization.Team & Leadership :- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers.- Drive a culture of accountability, documentation, and continuous improvement.- Define and enforce DevOps best practices and team standards.Infrastructure & Operations :- Own the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable infrastructure with Docker at its core.- Manage CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, and deployment processes.- Ensure high availability and security of production environments, including incident response and disaster recovery planning.Source Control & Workflow :- Establish and maintain efficient, transparent Git workflows (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based development).- Collaborate with developers to improve branching, merging, and code review processes.- Maintain visibility and traceability of all changes going into production.Security & Monitoring :- Implement security best practices in DevOps (e.g., secrets management, image scanning, access control).- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.What You'll Bring :- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.- 2+ years of leadership experience - managing people or leading cross-functional initiatives.- Expert-level knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployment.- Strong understanding of Git version control and experience setting up and managing collaborative workflows.- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Nice to Have :- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or other orchestration tools.- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible).- Exposure to compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).- Experience in a regulated or high-uptime environment.
