The ideal candidate will have 35 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data architectures and pipelines.This role requires close collaboration with data analysts, solution architects, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and availability across multiple systems. You will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making by creating and maintaining robust data infrastructure and analytics solutions.Key Responsibilities : Data Architecture & Pipeline Development :- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes across multiple data sources and platforms.- Develop and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to ensure efficiency, performance, and scalability.- Implement robust data ingestion and transformation workflows to enable accurate and timely data availability.Database Management & Performance Optimization :- Manage and administer relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) ensuring high availability and performance.- Conduct performance tuning, query optimization, and database health monitoring.- Implement data quality controls, indexing, and partitioning strategies to enhance query performance.Collaboration & Data Governance :- Partner with data analysts, architects, and software engineers to align data structures with analytical and reporting requirements.- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across systems through best practices in governance and documentation.- Support reporting and analytics initiatives by ensuring efficient access to clean and well-modeled data.Analytics & Insights Enablement :- Work closely with business teams to enable data-driven decision-making by providing structured datasets and analytical solutions.- Develop and maintain reporting platforms and dashboards to visualize business performance metrics.Continuous Improvement :- Evaluate and recommend emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices to enhance data management and system efficiency.- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and data strategy initiatives to drive process excellence.Key Skills & Competencies : - Proven experience in data engineering, database administration, and ETL development.- Strong command of T-SQL / PL-SQL for writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing SQL scripts.- Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting platform development.- Solid understanding of data platform administration and performance tuning techniques.- Familiarity with data analytics concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with analysts and BI teams.- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.- 35 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Database Developer, or similar role.- Experience in the technology, software, or analytics industry is preferred.Work Mode : Work from Office (WFO) - Kolkata locationEmployee Benefits : - Complimentary meals provided on-site- Health insurance coverage- Paid sick leave and personal time off- Provident Fund (PF) and other statutory benefitsWhy Join YuniQ?- Be part of a mission-driven company focused on using technology for positive change.- Collaborate with industry veterans and innovative minds passionate about building impactful solutions.- Enjoy a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace culture.- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge data technologies that directly influence business strategy and performance.
