Description : About the Role :We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cloud environments (AWS & Azure), infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. If you are passionate about building scalable, secure, and reliable systems, wed love to connect with you.Technical Skills Required : Cloud Expertise : Cloud-agnostic skills with experience in both physical data centers and cloud services (AWS, Azure).Services : EC2, S3, Route53, RDS.Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) : Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, & Orchestration : Kubernetes, EKS.CI/CD Pipelines : Foundational knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket, and automated deployment pipelines.Atlassian Tooling : Jira, Confluence for project and documentation management.Monitoring & Logging Tools : Grafana, CloudWatch, Kibana, : Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.Roles and Responsibilities : - Perform system administration tasks with a basic understanding of IP/subnetting, networking, and troubleshooting on Linux/Windows environments.- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to high utilization, scaling, and infrastructure bottlenecks.- Manage and automate SSL and code signing certificate issuance, renewal, and deployment.- Implement and maintain infrastructure security practices, including password management, access control, and secure configurations.- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, with strong problem-solving abilities and ownership.- Conduct root cause analysis using methodologies like the Five Whys and document findings.- Create and maintain clear documentation to ensure team-wide knowledge sharing.- Actively contribute to weekly and bi-weekly team meetings, providing input for continuous improvement of DevOps processes.Preferred Qualifications : - Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset with the ability to work under pressure.- Experience working in hybrid (cloud + physical data center) environments.- Good interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.- Proven ability to automate repetitive tasks and drive efficiency in operations.Work Location & Type : Pune & On-site (ref:hirist.tech)
