About the Role :Were looking for a Lead Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Java and AWS to architect and scale backend systems for a fast-growing fintech product. This is a high-impact leadership role where youll own backend strategy, guide engineering decisions, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust, scalable solutions.Responsibilities :- Design and implement scalable backend architecture using Java and AWS- Lead backend development efforts across product modules- Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration- Optimize performance, security, and reliability of backend systems- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices- Drive technical decisions and roadmap planning with leadershipRequirements :- 5- 10 years of backend development experience- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, etc.)- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver high-quality code- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills- Immediate availability for interviews and onboardingWhy Join :- Work on a high-growth fintech product with real impact- Competitive compensation and ownership opportunities- Fast-paced, collaborative environment with autonomy and trust- Opportunity to shape backend architecture from the ground up (ref:hirist.tech)
