By leveraging these resources, we consistently manufacture robust and enduring storage tanks that boast exceptional resistance to corrosion.Skills:-Candidates should be from the Sheet Metal fabrication line, knowledge of press shop, weld shop, plating etc, Knowledge of Customer Audit, knowledge of Good Quality Control, PPAP, APQP, Quality Documentation, Team HandlingResponsibilities:Production Planning and Management:Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows for metal structures and PEB components. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes. Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and cost constraints.Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for metal structures and PEB components. Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Identify and address quality issues, defects, or deviations from standards during production. Process Improvement: Analyze production processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Develop and recommend corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and ensure best practices. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit quality reports, including non-conformance reports, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans. Ensure all quality documentation is up-to-date and complies with industry standards and regulations. Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to metal structures and PEB. Monitor and enforce adherence to company quality policies and procedures. Stay current with industry developments, standards, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance. Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and approve suppliers based on their ability to meet quality requirements. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the supply chain. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve material quality.Training and Development: Train production staff and other stakeholders on quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and best practices. Provide guidance and support to team members regarding quality-related issues and concerns. Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve quality-related problems, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field. Certifications related to quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are a plus. Experience: Proven experience in quality engineering or quality control, preferably within the metal structure or PEB industry. Familiarity with quality standards, inspection techniques, and testing methods relevant to metal fabrication and construction. Skills: Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools. Proficiency in using quality inspection equipment and software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Certifications: Quality-related certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or ISO 9001 Auditor certification are advantageous.Working Conditions: Office environment with regular site visits to manufacturing and construction sites. May involve working extended hours or on weekends to meet project deadlines or address quality issues.
