Job Title: VDI/Collaboration lead

Experience: 15-20 years

Location: Bangalore, Pune, Chennai.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage teams responsible for VDI, SharePoint, Exchange, and Office 365 platforms.

• Define and drive the strategy for VDI, SharePoint, and Exchange/Office 365 environments to support business growth and digital transformation.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Oversee the architecture, deployment, and management of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.

• Ensure scalability, security, and high availability of VDI platforms (e.g., VMware Horizon, Azure AVS).

• Drive continuous improvement and optimization of VDI performance and user experience.

• Lead the design, deployment, and administration of SharePoint environments, including on-premises and SharePoint Online.

• Ensure effective document management, collaboration, and workflow automation through SharePoint solutions.

• Manage SharePoint upgrades, migrations, and integration with other enterprise systems.

• Manage and optimize Exchange and Office 365 environments, ensuring efficient email and collaboration services.

• Lead the migration and management of hybrid Exchange/Office 365 environments.

• Ensure compliance, security, and data protection standards are met within the Office 365 and Exchange infrastructure.

• Ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and monitoring of VDI, SharePoint, and Exchange/Office 365 platforms.

• Implement best practices for incident, problem, and change management, ensuring minimal service disruption.

• Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and ensure timely escalation when necessary.

• Ensure that all environments meet regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, security, and cloud teams, to ensure seamless integration of systems.

• Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and business stakeholders.

• Mentor and guide a team of engineers and administrators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

• Provide training and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.
