We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ETL/BI Developer to join our data warehousing and business intelligence team.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration, business intelligence, and database management, with a keen focus on performance optimization and problem-solving.


This role requires an individual who can not only build robust data solutions but also translate complex business needs into clear, impactful data models and reports.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Integration & Modeling : You will be responsible for developing and managing ETL processes using IBM DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse. You will also create and maintain data models that accurately reflect business requirements.

- Database & SQL Management : You will work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, demonstrating strong proficiency in writing and tuning SQL queries to ensure optimal performance.

- Business Intelligence & Reporting : You will use Power BI to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards. This includes managing the full lifecycle from data analysis and design to report development and unit testing.

- Scripting & Automation : You will have hands-on experience with Unix shell scripting to automate and manage data processing tasks.

- Performance & Troubleshooting : You will focus on performance optimization for both reports and queries, and independently research and solve complex technical issues.

Technical Skills :

- ETL : IBM DataStage 11.7

- Databases : Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL (including PL/SQL and query tuning)

- BI & Reporting : Power BI (Desktop, Server, Cloud), Data modeling, report development, and unit testing

- Scripting : Unix shell scripting

- Data Warehousing : Strong knowledge of data warehouse models

- Performance : Performance optimization in reports and queries

- Tools : Proficiency in Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)

Education & Experience :

- Experience : A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an ETL Developer or in a similar role within a data warehousing and business intelligence environment.

- Education : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
