Description : Must Have skills : Python coding, LLM, Angular is the key skill.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quant Full Stack Developer to join our Mumbai-based Quantitative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining end-to-end applications and frameworks that are critical to our trading and business operations. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in full stack product development, creating user-friendly interfaces and robust backend systems with a focus on production-quality, high-performance code.Key Accountabilities :- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications featuring a Python backend and an Angular frontend.- Build and maintain high-performance, low-latency REST APIs for financial data processing, analytics, and trade support.- Create responsive, intuitive, and data-rich user interfaces for trading, risk management, and analytical applications.- Develop and optimize high-throughput data pipelines sourcing data from internal trading systems and external market data feeds.- Architect, build, and maintain microservices and automation tools to enhance trading operations and efficiency.- Implement real-time data streaming and caching solutions to handle live market data.- Support and drive the migration of applications to cloud infrastructure, adopting modern deployment and DevOps practices.Stakeholder Management & Collaboration :- Work closely with sales & trading desks, quantitative researchers, and technology teams to deliver integrated business solutions.- Gather and analyze requirements from business users and translate them into precise technical specifications and actionable development plans.- Foster clear communication and shared accountability across cross-functional, global teams.Risk and Control Objective :- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, the firm's Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework, and all internal Policies and Standards.Person Specification :- We are looking for proactive candidates who are eager to take initiative and contribute to building new frameworks and systems from the ground up, utilizing next-generation tools and techniques.Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.- Proven experience in production-quality coding with Python, using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.- Proficiency in frontend development with Angular (TypeScript/JavaScript).- Hands-on experience in REST API design, development, and optimization.- Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.- Understanding of modern web development practices, including responsive design, state management, and comprehensive testing methodologies.- Good understanding of financial markets and instruments, with particular emphasis on equities.- Familiarity with data manipulation and numerical libraries like Pandas and NumPy.- Strong problem-solving abilities and a structured, analytical approach to work.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications : - Professional experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).- Understanding of Prime Brokerage services and the securities financing business.- Experience with modern frontend state management and reactive programming tools (e.g., RxJS, NgRx).- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.- Previous experience working in financial services, investment banking, or a proprietary trading environment.- Knowledge of market data vendors (e.g., Refinitiv, Bloomberg) and standard financial data formats.
