You will play a critical role in ensuring tax compliance for the firm and assisting our diverse clientele with their tax planning and filing needs.Key Responsibilities- Direct Taxation (Income Tax): - Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, HUFs, and firms. - Calculation and filing of TDS returns and handling TDS payments. - Assisting in tax planning strategies for clients (including NRIs) to optimize tax liabilities legally.- GST Compliance: - End-to-end handling of GST compliance, including monthly/quarterly return filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). - Reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with books of accounts. - Handling GST registrations and cancellations if required. - Staying updated on the latest GST notifications and circulars.- Advisory & Support: - Resolving queries related to Indian taxation for clients. - Liaising with tax authorities and handling notices, scrutinies, or assessments under the guidance of senior management. - Maintain accurate tax records and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.Key Requirements- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in a taxation role (CA Firm or Corporate experience preferred). - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B. Com) or higher. CA Inter / CMA Inter candidates will have an added advantage. - Technical Skills: - In-depth knowledge of GST and Income Tax Act. - Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and Tax Filing Software (e.g., CompuTax, Winman, or similar). - Experience navigating the GST and Income Tax government portals. - Soft Skills: - Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. - Ability to work independently in an onsite environment. - Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.What We Offer- Opportunity to work with a professional, SEBI-registered advisory firm. - A collaborative work environment that values ethics and professional growth. - Exposure to a wide variety of client portfolios, including NRIs and HNIs.
