System Administrators

•Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization

•Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes

•Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues

•Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

•Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

•Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, and ensuring security through access controls, backups and firewalls

•Knowledge of database administration including capacity, storage planning, security, data protection and database performance

•Strong knowledge of systems and networking technologies (LAN, WAN, DNS, TCP/IP), hardware, networking protocols, and patch management

•Vendor Components: LDAP, Active Directory, Print Services, Security Concepts, Microsoft ,HP, IIS

•Communicate effectively with developers, vendor contacts, leaders, and business associates
