About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI/CI Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and Cloud Integration (CI) products.

You will work on projects involving both cloud-based and on-premise application systems, helping clients streamline their business processes through seamless integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

Integration Development & Design :

- Develop and maintain SAP CPI/CI integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between cloud-based applications and on-premise systems.

- Design and implement solutions using CPI for both A2A (Application to Application) and B2B (Business to Business) business scenarios.

- Participate in requirement gathering and work closely with business and functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.

- Analyze system landscapes, design interfaces, and ensure smooth communication between applications.

Integration Strategy & Solution Implementation :

- Build and implement integration strategies for customers with a combination of on-premise and cloud application systems (e.g, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, and others).

- Develop expertise in data architecture, integration governance, and the use of pre-packaged cloud integrations for various business systems.

- Work on integrating systems such as HANA, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, and C4C into SAP CPI.

Error Handling & Alert Management :

- Design and implement error handling strategies for integrations, ensuring the resolution of any integration failures or issues.

- Set up alert management to proactively monitor integration performance and resolve issues before they impact business operations.

Scripting & Customization :

- Work with Groovy scripts and Java to build custom logic for integration scenarios.

- Write custom error-handling and validation scripts to ensure reliable and accurate data flow across integrated systems.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Perform Unit Testing, System Testing, and Integration Testing across the various phases of the project lifecycle.

- Document and track the results of the testing process to ensure integration solutions meet quality standards and client requirements.

Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement :

- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring or critical issues in integration flows.

- Propose long-term solutions and best practices to prevent issues from recurring, ensuring smooth and efficient integrations.

Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and Cloud Integration (CI).

- Hands-on experience with various integration adapters such as SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, ODATA, JDBC, and SuccessFactors.

- Experience with Trading Partner Management (TPM) and EDI processes.

- Familiarity with SSL, PGP encryption, and other security concepts for secure data transfer.

- Groovy scripting experience is preferred.

- Experience in integrating SAP CPI with systems like SAP HANA, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, and C4C.

- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector and CPI Cockpit for system monitoring and error handling.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication skills to interact directly with clients and internal teams.

- Ability to manage client expectations, and effectively handle technical discussions.

- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of integration and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Certification in relevant technologies (SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, etc.) is a plus.
