Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Welder with a full-time commitment to join our team at Nanguneri. The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 6 years of work experience. This role is crucial in supporting our manufacturing process by ensuring precision and quality in welding operations. The successful candidate will be involved in both MIG and TIG welding tasks, among other responsibilities.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG welding (mandatory skill), essential for effective and high-quality welding processes.
  • Expertise in TIG welding (mandatory skill), required for handling complex welding tasks with precision.
  • Strong ability in blueprint reading (mandatory skill) to accurately interpret and follow technical designs.
  • Experience in stick welding to provide versatility in handling various welding assignments effectively.
  • Skills in plasma cutting to ensure accuracy and precision in cutting metal parts.
  • Solid understanding of welding safety protocols for maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Capability in conducting welding inspections to ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with welding robotics will be advantageous for automation and efficiency in welding tasks.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks on various metal components to ensure high-quality assembly.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately perform welding operations as per specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections of welds to ensure they comply with quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimise welding processes and improve production efficiency.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment to ensure peak performance and reliability.
  • Follow all safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Assist in training junior welders to foster skill development and adherence to quality practices.
  • Report any equipment faults or safety concerns to the supervisory team promptly.
