Position : Acceptance Testing Engineer

Location : Pune, India (Hybrid)

Experience : 1 to 3 Years

Project Contract : 12 months (Extends)

Job Description :


We are looking forward to hire User Acceptance Testing Professionals in the following areas :

Mandatory Skills : Experience in Oil and Gas domain.

Responsibilities :

- Validate and verify software extensions (Ocean plug-ins) for Petrel / Techlog / Studio platforms as per defined set of acceptance criteria (Ocean Acceptance Checklist) to ensure end users' workflow can be efficiently performed without software failures.

- Conduct nonfunctional tests including tests for system load and performance, security, scalability, usability and deployability of the extensions.

- In the event of failures, generate informative and detailed reports, highlighting any failures of the rules that have been identified and communicate to plug-ins development teams.

- Collaborate with Security & Cloud deployment teams.

- Work as part of a distributed team.

Required Skills :

- A minimum of bachelor's degree in: Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited University is preferred.

- Analytical mind with problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently.

- Excited and willing to learn new Good communication skills with English proficiency.

- Service delivery focus and results oriented.

- Ensure test runs and results within the given time frame.

- Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.

- Identify, report and track software defects and issues.

- Perform functional, performance, security and regression testing of software products.

- Report test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders and work on their resolution.

- Provide suggestions and feedback to improve the quality of the software development process across teams.

- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Required skills and qualifications :

- You have a degree in computer science, engineering, or similar technical certifications.

- You have at least 2-3 years of experience in testing, quality assurance or similar roles, preferably in a SaaS or tech consultancy business.

- You have excellent problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
