Job Description:

We are seeking a self-driven and highly skilled Senior Engineer with 11+ years of experience in software development, particularly with Python and cloud-based technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable applications, with hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS. Knowledge of AI/ML technologies is a plus.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using Python and cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with architects and team leads to design, build, and implement scalable and robust software solutions.
  • Work with cloud providers like GCP and AWS to build and deploy applications.
  • Utilize Airflow for workflow orchestration and PySpark for distributed data processing.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
  • Take initiative and ownership of projects, working independently when needed, with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to the team by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Collaborate effectively with global teams, communicating clearly on project goals, issues, and solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with GCP and/or AWS for deploying and managing applications.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Experience with Airflow.
  • Big Data Processing: Experience with PySpark or similar big data frameworks.
