Job Title : Manager – Finance

Function : Finance & Accounts

Location : Kamala Mills, Mumbai

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the accounting, financial reporting and treasury operations of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

Description of Responsibility

  1. Financial reporting and controlling
  • Overseeing all ledgers, accounts, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with relevant accounting framework.
  • Leading and managing monthly, quarterly and annual books closure and reviewing financial statements with schedules and notes.
  • Preparing the Standalone and Consolidation of Financial statement.
  • Interact with various group Companies to obtain the financial information to prepare the monthly MIS and info required for CFS..
  • Assist the management with need-based cost reports & analysis
  • Designing, implementing, and monitoring proper accounting policies, procedures and principles for financial reporting process.

2. Audit

  • Working closely with statutory and internal auditors for closure of audits in a timely manner – preferable to have worked with Big 4 audit firms.
  • Drive the overall audit procedures & monitor progress.
  • Support the Holding Company on quarterly & annual closure.
  • Facilitate implementation of all major audit recommendations.
  • Overseeing internal financial controls (IFC) and maintaining internal controls

3. Treasury and receivables

  • Management the accounting of treasury activities - forex, investment, banking, credit facilities & others.
  • Managing organisational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with various departments.
  • Ensure adequate funding for day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee revenue accounting & reconciliations.
  • Oversee debtors overdue & collections report.

4. Other activities

  • Monitor and review access rights for users in SAP and implementing the system related to new segment.
  • Work closely with the management to achieve the larger organisational goals.
  • Prepare the monthly MIS of financial status.
  • Preparing the advance tax income computation at the group level.

Educational Qualification

Chartered Accountant

Specific Certification

IFRS, Ind AS, SAP (desirable)

Total Experience : 4 years Relevant Experience : 2-3 years
