Role Description

This is a full-time contractual role for a Public Relations Specialist (Content Writer) at Ascend. The specialist will be responsible for creating PR-focused content for our clientele, developing content strategies and narratives, conducting research, writing, proofreading, and ensuring all written material aligns with the organization's mission and values.


Note: Salary is paid on a per-project basis with a minimum guarantee rate.


Qualifications

  • PR Content Writing, Article Writing, and Proofreading skills
  • Experience in Content Strategy development
  • Research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Understanding of immigration processes and terminology is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field is a plus
