This technology will make compliance easy, empower responsible governance, and contribute to a better world.As a Data Analyst, you'll immerse yourself in the fascinating world of maritime data, conducting research and analysis using Python. Your insights will drive strategic decisions and shape the future of our products.Required skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fieldsExperience ideally in data-rich / complex domains (maritime, logistics, defense, finance, or compliance).Experience using statistical analysis in enterprise or research environmentsExperience coding with PythonExperience utilizing Generative AI tools for research or deliveryStrong analytical mindset and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working with databases and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, Polars)Scope of work:Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and anomaliesAccountability for critical data and infrastructureVisualize findings to understand and communicate insights effectivelyWrite Python code to extract and analyze data from various sources including Postgres, Mongo and S3Work with a team of domain and technical experts to address challengesJoin the Data Analysts technical guild to help grow Windward’s data analysts professional communityApply domain knowledge to interpret data in the context of the maritime industryConduct data quality assurance checks to identify and resolve inconsistencies and errorsRemote, Long-Term, Direct Employment with WindWard
