Regenta Resort Soma Vine Village is a luxury resort located in the heart of Indias wine capital Nashik. Nestled amidst serene landscapes, the resort offers 44 well-appointed rooms and villas, two restaurants (Surahi and Shiraz), a wellness spa, pool, and recreational zones. We are committed to delivering world-class hospitality while ensuring operational excellence and financial sustainability.
Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the resorts financial strategy, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, managing end-to-end accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the resorts long-term profitability. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to senior management and working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs):
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the resort
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports
- Monitor and manage accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow operations
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key metrics to support strategic decisions
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings, and audit processes
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through internal controls and cost optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and marketing teams to align financial goals with business objectives
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices
- Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders for audit readiness and financial disclosures
- Assist in evaluating financial viability of new projects or business initiatives within the resort
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong command over financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency in managing accounting functions including AP, AR, reconciliation, and cash flow
- In-depth knowledge of Indian financial regulations, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience in hospitality finance or resort-based financial operations preferred
- Hands-on expertise in financial software (Tally ERP, SAP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
- Team-oriented with a proactive and process-driven approach
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
- Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) are preferred
