Job Title: Freelance HR Consultant (Short-Term Project)

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Freelance/Contract

Project Duration: 3 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Consultant to work on the establishment of a centralized HR department. This short-term project will involve designing and implementing HR policies, procedures, automations, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and performance management systems, among other HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR strategy, process creation, and automation, preferably with experience in top-tier consulting. This is a remote role, and an assignment based role. The consultant is expected to dedicate at least three days per week to the project, or complete the assigned task in the given time while being free to continue other full-time engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and establish a centralized HR department, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
  • Develop comprehensive HR policies and procedures from scratch to create a standardized framework.
  • Design and implement automation tools to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
  • Create and define KPIs to measure the effectiveness of HR functions and employee performance.
  • Develop and roll out a robust performance management system, ensuring it aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct a thorough review of current HR practices (if applicable) and recommend improvements.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Deliver well-documented processes and actionable recommendations for long-term HR sustainability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Provide periodic updates on project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HR consulting with expertise in establishing HR functions and departments.
  • Strong background in creating HR processes, policies, and KPIs from scratch.
  • Experience with HR automation tools and implementing technology-driven solutions.
  • Familiarity with performance management systems and frameworks.
  • Prior experience in top-tier consulting firms is highly preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with remote teams and managing virtual projects.
  • Knowledge of global HR practices and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
