Designation : API Connect Developer

Job Description :

1. Design & development experience on IBM DataPower & IBM API Connect.

2. Experience on end to the end implementation process of IBM APIC.

3. Configure and administer IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower appliances.

4. Design multiple services based on different standards for REST/SOAP web services data integration techniques messaging and transformation engines and non-standard services (APIs).

5. Hands experience with IBM API connect with the knowledge of Developer Portal, API Manager & Developer toolkit.

6. Strong knowledge of setting up plans & managing developer portals.

7. Strong knowledge in working with Web services and API technologies, REST applications & Microservices.

8. Understanding HTTP and HTTPS protocols and basic knowledge of HTTP headers, request/response, XML/JSON data structure and SOAP/REST services.

9. Experience with XPath, RegEx, HTTP status codes, GET/POST methods and CRUD operations.

10. Experience with any enterprise service bus product and/or JMS messaging.

11. A clear grasp of SDLC principles and best practices Working experience and knowledge of API Gateway.
