Overview:

- The Head of Financial Controllership plays a pivotal role in safeguarding and optimizing the financial integrity of the organization. This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and analysis. By developing and implementing sound financial strategies, this role ensures accurate financial reporting and adherence to regulatory standards.


- The Head of Financial Controllership will work closely with other executives to align financial goals with business objectives, providing critical insights that inform decision-making processes. As a leader, this position will mentor and guide finance teams, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.


- Key to this role is the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring they are well-informed to make strategic business decisions. Overall, this leadership role is essential for optimizing financial performance, mitigating risks, and enhancing organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the financial controllership function and ensure the accuracy of all financial reports.

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to increase operational efficiency.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Manage the budgeting process and provide timely financial insights to senior management.

- Perform risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate financial risks.

- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and legal requirements.

- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and responses.

- Lead and develop the finance team, promoting professional growth and accountability.

- Analyze business performance and provide recommendations for improvement to drive profitability.

- Coordinate and manage cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

- Monitor financial performance against strategic plans and adjusted forecasts.

- Implement technology solutions for enhanced financial reporting and analysis.

- Serve as a strategic business partner to other departments, providing financial insights for decision-making.

- Prepare and present financial performance reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.

- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical financial practices throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (Completion between 2010 to 2016)

- Experience in Fintech or NBFC required

- 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in controllership roles.

- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

- Experience with financial reporting systems and ERP software.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through relevant experience.

- Proven leadership experience managing finance teams in complex environments.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.

- Proven ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.

- Understanding of corporate finance and strategic planning processes.

- Track record of enhancing financial performance and profitability.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- High level of integrity and ethical standards in financial practices.

- Expertise in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
