Role details:


  • Title / Designation: Big Data Manager
  • Reporting Manager: Global Delivery Head
  • Location: Bengaluru
  • Work Mode: Hybrid


Role & responsibilities:


  • Utilize hands-on experience in Cloudera/Hadoop, Big Query, HBase, MongoDB, MySQL/SQL, and data flow pipelines.
  • Apply knowledge of real-time message processing and reporting.
  • Manage and govern petabytes of data efficiently.
  • Track business KPIs and map them to technical KPIs for daily monitoring.
  • Work closely with customer engineering and product teams to manage day-to-day activities.
  • Raise and track product changes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the retail business.
  • Possess knowledge of accounting and finance concepts, including AP/AR, GMV, revenue, tax, TCS, and TDS.
  • Lead and guide the technical team to achieve daily objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and provide technical direction.
  • Engage effectively with senior directors and clients.
  • Exhibit excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.


Candidate requirements:


  • 13-18 Years of Overall experience with minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data-related technologies such as Cloudera/Hadoop, Big Query, HBase, MongoDB, MySQL/SQL, and data flow pipelines.
  • Proven program management skills with the ability to track and map business and technical KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of retail business processes and accounting/finance concepts.
  • Experience in real-time message processing and data governance / management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a technical team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience working with senior directors and executive management.
  • Prior experience in handling large-scale data systems.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
