Description:Senior Java Developer Global Markets Technology - Rates Electronic Trade Capture teamLocation: Powai, MumbaiWe are hiring a Senior Java Developer for a leading global financial services organization. The role is part of the Global Markets Technology Rates Electronic Trade Capture team, responsible for building and maintaining high-performance electronic trading applications.About the Role:This is a senior individual contributor position in a global technology setup. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact trading systems in collaboration with international teams across regions.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain large-scale electronic trade processing applications- Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient solutions- Collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality code within timelines- Ensure best coding practices and reduce technical debt- Support production issues, testing, and integration with global stakeholdersMandatory Skills :- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns- Expertise with Tibco EMS / RV / IBM MQ / Solace / Apache Pulsar- In-depth knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and memory management- Proficiency with RDBMS such as Sybase or Oracle- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills- Experience working in global, cross-regional development teamsDesirable Skills :- Knowledge of electronic Rates trading- Experience with Apache Camel- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Build Environments- Exposure to Investment Banking technologyEducational Qualification :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
