ConveGenius - Junior Database Engineer - SQL Server

Key Responsibilities : - Manage and administer various databases, including but not limited to SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM Db2, and MongoDB.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement efficient database solutions.- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.- Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.- Conduct regular database capacity planning and performance tuning.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 5+ years of proven experience as a Database Administrator.- Strong proficiency in structured query language (SQL) and hands-on experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, IBM Db2, and MongoDB.- Understanding and experience working with cloud platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services) / GCP (Google Cloud).- In-depth knowledge of database design, implementation, and maintenance.- Familiarity with database security best practices.- Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.- Effective communication and collaboration skills.- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
