Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Flutter Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our development team. As a Flutter Developer at Codon Software, you will be responsible for creating high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will be involved in all stages of development, from concept and design to implementation and release, ensuring seamless user experiences.

In this role, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile applications that meet customer needs. You will also play a critical role in maintaining the codebase, writing tests, and ensuring that the applications run efficiently across multiple devices.

You will need to have a strong understanding of mobile application architecture, familiarity with state management, and experience working with various APIs. In addition to technical skills, we value problem-solving abilities, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for keeping up with the latest mobile development trends.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new features in existing applications and new applications from the ground up using Flutter.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, following best practices for mobile development.
  • Build custom widgets and modules that are reusable and extendable.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party libraries to enhance app functionality.
  • Collaborate with the product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless, user-friendly experiences.
  • Ensure that applications meet the technical and functional requirements of the project, performing bug fixing and debugging as necessary.
  • Optimize mobile applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Conduct testing and implement automation testing to improve the reliability of the applications.
  • Regularly participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay informed on Flutter updates, mobile architecture trends, and mobile app development best practices.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Flutter Developer (2-3 years).
  • Strong knowledge of the Flutter framework and Dart language.
  • Experience with mobile application lifecycle and state management (e.g., Provider, BLoC, Riverpod).
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and mobile design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM).
  • Familiarity with mobile security protocols and best practices for handling sensitive user data.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools like Mockito, Flutter Test, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of the deployment process to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant degrees.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with native mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, Java).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services and databases like Firebase, AWS, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools such as Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Prior experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
