About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Analyst / Business Analyst to support two fast-growing B2B salon services businesses in the US. This role is crucial for driving data-based decision-making across sales, operations, and strategy.
You will work closely with leadership, processing and analyzing large sets of sales and business data on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate is an Excel expert, thrives on digging into numbers, and can work independently while staying organized and consistent in reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large volumes of sales and operational data daily
- Create reports using Excel (pivots, vlookups, dashboards, etc.)
- Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights from complex datasets
- Develop and maintain data tracking systems and dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data-driven support
- Support ad hoc analysis and strategic reporting requests
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in a data analyst/business analyst role
- Advanced Excel skills are essential (pivot tables, complex formulas, macros, etc.)
- Experience working with large datasets across multiple formats (CSV, Excel, databases)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with tight deadlines
Nice to Have:
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboarding and data visualization
- Experience in a B2B services or sales-driven business environment
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems
Work Environment:
- Remote-first with flexibility, but availability during US business hours is required
- Fast-paced and entrepreneurial setup with high ownership and visibility
