Job Title : Senior Embedded Product System Tester

Responsibilities :

- Conduct testing for embedded product systems, focusing on devices such as Smoke Detectors, IP cameras, Thermostats, and Gateways (Intel, Dell, Samsung, Philips).

- Perform testing on short-range protocols including BLE, Z-Wave, WiFi, and ZigBee.

- Ensure thorough testing of IoT Edge Firmware and Cloud connectivity, particularly with Azure.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, estimate efforts, and prepare comprehensive test plans.

- Design and execute test cases to ensure product quality and reliability.

- Establish and maintain test labs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize testing environments.

- Utilize Python scripting for test automation and framework development.

- Apply sound knowledge of object-oriented programming in Python to enhance testing processes.

- Develop and implement Test Automation Frameworks, utilizing tools like Robot Framework and pytest.

- Conduct REST API testing to verify functionality and performance.

- Continuously improve testing methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements :

- Proficiency in testing various embedded devices and gateways.

- Strong understanding of short-range communication protocols (BLE, Z-Wave, WiFi, ZigBee).

- Hands-on experience with IoT Edge Firmware and Cloud connectivity, particularly with Azure.

- Ability to estimate efforts, prepare requirements, and develop test plans.

- Experience in designing and executing test cases, along with troubleshooting skills.

- Proficient in Python scripting and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Demonstrated experience in developing Test Automation Frameworks using Robot Framework and pytest.

- Familiarity with REST API testing techniques.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
