Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Account Specialist at Shipyaari in Mumbai. The Finance Account Specialist will be responsible for managing financial statements, utilizing analytical skills, handling finance and accounting tasks, and overseeing payroll administration.


  1. Basic accounting knowledge, including data entry and bookkeeping
  2. Conducting bank reconciliations
  3. Performing account and ledger reconciliations
  4. Managing incoming invoices and vendor relationships
  5. Basic understanding of tax regulations, including TDS and GST
  6. Preparing customer bills in accordance with established rates and agreements
  7. Addressing customer queries and resolving disputes
  8. Preparing debit and credit notes
  9. Analyzing client and vendor invoicing to ensure accuracy and profitability
  10. Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to verify that all payments are recorded and properly posted
  11. Coordinating with both internal and external teams
  12. Communicating effectively with customers and vendors


Qualifications

  • Financial Statements and Accounting skills
  • Analytical Skills for data interpretation
  • Experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Familiarity with accounting software
  • Experience in the logistics industry is preferred
