The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities:Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations with logistics providers using IntegrationHub and MID ServerConfigure scheduled data imports, Import Sets, and Transform Maps to ingest shipment details and warehouse transactionsDefine and enforce CMDB reconciliation rules to align physical inventory with ServiceNow recordsDevelop error-handling and alerting mechanisms, including retry logic and exception notificationsCollaborate with external vendors to validate API contracts, authentication (OAuth2, API keys), and data-security requirementsBuild runbooks and automated workflows for inbound receipts, outbound deployments, returns, and discrepancy resolutionExtend ServiceNow assets and CI classes to capture logistics attributes (tracking number, carrier, delivery status)Implement data-cleansing routines and mapping scripts to normalize logistics data for analyticsDocument integration patterns, update sets, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles for ongoing maintenanceRequired Skills & Experience8+ years of ServiceNow integration development, including IntegrationHub spokes and Scripted RESTProficiency in JavaScript (Glide API), Flow Designer, Business Rules, and Script IncludesHands-on experience with CMDB data modeling, Transform Maps, and reconciliation processesStrong understanding of logistics workflows: shipment tracking, inventory movement, warehouse allocationsFamiliarity with web-service authentication methods (OAuth2, mutual TLS, API-key)Experience with error-handling frameworks and monitoring integrationsPreferred SkillsServiceNow Certified Integration Specialist or CMDB Implementation SpecialistPrior integration experience with Lenovo or other hardware-logistics APIsKnowledge of AI-driven EDLM platforms and predictive asset-management toolsExposure to notification channels (Microsoft Teams bots/cards or SMS via Twilio) for shipment alertsExperience setting up CI/CD pipelines and update-set version control (Git)Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex integration flowsStrong communication skills for liaising with vendors, architects, and business stakeholdersDetail-oriented mindset to ensure data accuracy and compliance with global logistics standardsAdaptability in agile environments, capable of iterative delivery and continuous improvement
