Job Title : Appian Developer / Lead / Architect (Contract).

Experience : 5-15 years in IT, with 2-8 years specifically in Appian development.

Work Mode : Hybrid (10 days in-office per month).

Location : Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad.

Employment Type : Contract.

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer / Lead to join our team.

This role involves leading the design and development of Appian-based applications, ensuring their alignment with business objectives and technical standards.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Appian, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Application Design & Development : Lead and configure Appian applications that meet business needs, while adhering to best practices.

- End-to-End Project Lifecycle : Manage the entire lifecycle of application development, from architecture through deployment, ensuring high performance and scalability.

- Data Modeling : Develop and maintain data models, write SQL queries, and create stored procedures to support application functionality.

- Team Leadership & Mentorship : Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers to promote best practices.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Appian applications with other systems.

- Documentation & Component Reusability : Maintain detailed documentation and develop reusable components for future projects.

- Application Support : Manage enhancement requests and provide ongoing support to ensure application stability and responsiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Appian Proficiency : Demonstrated expertise in Appian, including process models, interfaces, SAIL, and expression rules.

- Agile Development : Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g, JIRA) for effective sprint management.

- Data Management : Strong skills in data modeling, SQL, and stored procedures.

- Analytical Abilities : Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient, scalable solutions.

- Effective Communication : Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with global teams and stakeholders.

- Leadership : Proven ability to lead and mentor a development team in delivering high-quality solutions.
