Job Title : SAP ABAP Developer / Senior ABAP Developer (HANA + OData + RAP)Location : Pune / Bangalore / HyderabadWork Mode : Hybrid / As per project requirementExperience Level :Developer : Up to 6 YearsSenior / Lead : 7+ YearsJob Overview :We are looking for experienced SAP ABAP Developers with strong hands-on experience in ABAP for HANA, OData Services, and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of S/4HANA, BTP, and modern SAP development practices, along with excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP on HANA technologies.- Develop and consume OData services for seamless integration with SAP Fiori and external systems.- Implement RAP APIs and contribute to Restful ABAP Programming Model projects.- Work on IDOC and SOAP-based interfaces for system integration.- Create and optimize CDS Views and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for efficient data handling.- Implement BADI (Business Add-In) enhancements and custom logic as per business needs.- Participate in S/4HANA upgrade and migration projects.- Collaborate with functional consultants and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and project standards.Required Skills & Experience :For Developers (Up to 6 Years) :- Strong experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) Classes, Interfaces, OO ALVs.- Hands-on experience in developing and consuming OData Services.- Experience in IDOC and SOAP-based interfaces.- Proficiency in BADI Enhancements, CDS Views, and AMDP.- Exposure to ABAP on HANA and S/4HANA upgrade environments.- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.For Senior / Lead Developers (7+ Years) :- Strong experience in RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) building and exposing RAP APIs.- Experience in SAP BTP application development or integration.- Proven expertise in OO ABAP, OData, CDS Views, AMDP, and BADI.- Involvement in ABAP on HANA and S/4HANA upgrade/migration projects.- Ability to lead technical design discussions and mentor junior developers.Mandatory Skills :- SAP ABAP Development for HANA- OData Services- RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)Preferred Skills :- Experience with SAP BTP- Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 integration- Understanding of Agile methodology (ref:hirist.tech)
