Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Implement data storage solutions using both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Develop RESTful APIs using Express.js
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implement security and data protection measures
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in backend development using Node.js
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React)
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Express.js, Koa, Handlebar and other Node.js frameworks
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
