ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


As part of the Medical Product testing team, should be able to plan, identify and execute testing activities in a product development to meet the quality and project goals but not limited to the following:


  • Plan and execute testing activities in a Product development project.
  • Defining test methodology for ensuring the quality of embedded Firmware and System level.
  • Creating/defining the necessary tools and test plans for conducting firmware testing and system verification.
  • Developing new processes and tools to speed the testing process (e.g., automation testing) to improve SW test coverage and reduce testing cycle time
  • Implement and drive Software Testing Life Cycle in an Agile development methodology
  • Understand product features in detail, develop test cases and perform test execution to challenge the design
  • Perform traceability of test cases to requirements and ensure test completeness
  • Drive and Perform Integration, Software, System, Functional and Regression testing through Manual and Automation testing
  • Ensure safety and quality of the product
  • Work Closely with development team and Project team to meet the project timelines.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvements, offer new ideas and take initiative to improve process.
  • Perform test optimization and early identification of defects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn fast and understand new technologies and medical domain.



ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATI ON AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:

o Engineering degree or above in Electrical/Electronics/Software engineering or equivalent


TECHNICAL COMPETENCY :

  • 4 to 6 Years of experience in Product Development Testing – Software and System
  • Good knowledge on Blackbox test case design technique.
  • Knowledge on Agile methodology and experience in complete product development lifecycle.
  • Experience and knowledgeable in interpreting design and identify test scenario
  • Good knowledge in system integration, test design and verification strategy.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE TION AND EXPERIENCE (DESIRABLES) :

  • Background in medical industry with working knowledge on IEC standards, and knowledge in testing medical devices.
  • Good understanding of medical device testing and in driving quality and regulatory changes.
  • Experience using a Requirements Management tool, such as Code Beamer or DOORs, Jira for requirements and test cases management.
  • Preferably experience in Test Automation on various platforms.
  • Experience working on ARM based Micro controllers like STM32 and Embedded Linux
  • Sound knowledge of peripheral drivers like I2C/ SPI/ UART/ USB/ GPIOs/ BLE etc.
