The role involves developing backend components, integrating APIs, managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform, and ensuring seamless CI/CD delivery pipelines. The ideal engineer is hands-on withSpring Boot ,FastAPI , andAWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS)— and can work independently to deliver production-grade solutions.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintainRESTful APIsand backend microservices usingJava (Spring Boot)andPython (FastAPI) . Developcloud-native applicationsleveraging AWS services — S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, EC2, RDS, SNS, and SQS. Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration usingTerraformand manage pipelines viaCI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.) . Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms usingOktaand JWT. Optimize system performance and scalability usingDatadogandSplunkfor observability and logging. Work closely with frontend developers usingReact.jsandNode.jsto ensure full-stack integration. Collaborate within anAgile environment , contributing to sprint planning, requirement analysis, and peer code reviews. Technical Stack Languages:Java, Python (FastAPI, Pandas, NumPy) Frameworks:Spring Boot, Hibernate, Node.js, React.js Cloud:AWS (S3, ECS, EKS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, SNS, SQS) DevOps:Terraform, Git, CI/CD (Jenkins or equivalent), Datadog, Splunk Databases:PostgreSQL, SQL Server Authentication:Okta, OAuth2.0 Methodology:Agile / Scrum Ideal Candidate 5+ years of backend development experience Proven experience inJava Spring BootandPython FastAPI Hands-on AWS cloud expertise and strong understanding ofIaC with Terraform Strong debugging, analytical, and performance optimization skills Excellent communication and ability to work in fast-paced remote environments
