About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Factory Head to lead and manage end-to-end production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective manufacturing, adherence to timelines, and maintain high-quality standards while managing people and processes Drive cost-effective production and optimize resource utilization.- Monitor and ensure compliance with all production procedures and SOPs.- Implement and track the Time and Action Calendar for seamless production flow.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (raw materials, fabrics, trims, suppliers, factories) to ensure production deadlines are consistently met.- Oversee planning, price closure, and allocation of resources.- Ensure timely execution of production schedules in alignment with the Product Development Calendar.- Maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to ensure smooth operations.- Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of factory staff.- Collaborate with branding and marketing teams for production-related support.- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.Skillsets & Competencies:- Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes (cutting, sewing, finishing).- Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and execution.- Ability to manage price points and cost negotiations.- Proven leadership, people management, and team development skills.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.- Ability to build and maintain relationships across teams and vendors.- Proficiency in monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement.- Knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and quality assurance standard (ref:iimjobs.com)
