As we continue to expand our digital footprint and enhance our technological capabilities across both businesses, we're seeking a talented Python Developer to strengthen our tech team.


Position Overview


We are seeking a Python Developer with strong backend development skills and a solid foundation in analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL pipelines, managing system integrations, and contributing to middleware applications while having the ability to work with statistical analysis and data operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for data processing and transformation
  • Create data analytics frameworks and scalable data pipelines to support retail and ecommerce insights
  • Build models to optimize promotion spends and competitiveness in the market
  • Leveraging AI in analytics pipelines to build self-resolving models
  • Build and manage integrations between multiple external systems and our core platforms
  • Develop and upgrade middleware applications to ensure smooth data flow between systems
  • Implement robust error handling and monitoring systems for integrations and data pipelines
  • Optimize existing systems for better performance and reliability
  • Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Python development
  • Strong proficiency in Python and its data processing libraries (pandas, numpy, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with SQL, MongoDB and database management
  • Solid understanding of statistics, data structures and algorithms
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud platforms
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with at least one of the frontend technologies (JavaScript, React)
  • Strong background in statistics and mathematics
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools
  • Experience with web frameworks (Django, Flask, + any frontend)
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
