Chief Technology Officer

The Chief Technology Officer role will translate technology needs and capabilities to non-technical peers, develop deep technology relationships with strategic vendors (e.g. Google, Salesforce, Adobe, Amazon, etc.), set our technical architecture plans across the organization, and grow our client opportunities with smart technology investments. The role will be highly visible throughout the organization, with touchpoints from the C-level to individual contributors.


INDUSTRY: FINTECH OR E-COMMERCE ONLY


The role will:

-       Define technical offerings and GTM strategy

-       Coordinate across multiple OpCos within the organization, and key vendors to define integrated and connected technology solutions delivering customer experiences at scale

-       Own the design for the organization technical stack architecture, building blueprints for marketing/advertising technology solutions combining CRM, Commerce, Content, and more

-       Establish and lead an architectural governance board to establish best practices, bold new initiatives, and risk management

-       Advise on emerging technology and develop future-looking roadmaps across vendors, clients, and partners to futureproof organization solutions and share innovations

-       Support our teams as a trusted advisor and technical evangelist for top organization clients with a clear POV on MarTech/Commerce trends

 

Experience:

The company is part agency, part consultancy, part technology company. We are looking for a leader who has shaped marketing technology for global enterprises with a strong understanding of MarTech and Commerce across Adobe, Salesforce, Google, SAP, and other leading technology platforms. Candidates have deep experience serving as trusted advisors to technologists, clients, and partners, with a breadth of experience extending to creative, media, production, and data. Onshore and offshore model experience is also required.

 

·      15 years of professional experience within technology

·      Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in MarTech/Commerce technology

·      Expertise of marketing technologies such as Adobe, Salesforce, etc

·      Technology industry experience, both consumer and commercial (B2B/B2C)

·      Exposure to creative technology and IoT

·      Ability to collaborate across talented and diverse cross functional teams

·      Experience with leading cloud environments

·      Hands-on—delivering POCs, pair programming with developers

·      Consulting experience preferred
