This is a full-time, on-site academic role available across the location Pune.Job SummaryJoin us as a Mathematics Instructor in our Mathematics Department at Newton School of Technology.We are seeking an experienced professional to deliver high-quality lectures, design engaging course content, conduct lab sessions, and mentor B.Tech Computer Science students — ensuring their academic and professional success in the tech field.Note: This role is exclusively for teaching B.Tech students. It does not involve teaching 10th, 12th, or JEE-level students.Key Responsibilities- Course Development & Delivery: Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in key Mathematics topics, including: - Linear Algebra - Advanced Calculus - Mathematical Foundations for Computer Science - Probability & Statistics - Discrete Mathematics - Optimization - Integrate mathematical concepts with real-world Computer Science applications such as AI, Data Science, and Algorithms. - Mentor students through projects, competitions, and guided research. - Collaborate on curriculum development with faculty and industry advisors. - Lab Management: Conduct and manage lab sessions to provide students with hands-on experience in applying mathematical concepts using relevant tools and technologies. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with faculty members, researchers, and industry partners to enhance the curriculum and ensure real-world relevance. - Academic Excellence & Student Success: Mentor and guide students to achieve academic excellence and contribute to innovation-driven learning. - Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with university administrators and Newton School representatives to drive educational innovation. - Research & Innovation: Encourage students to participate in research projects and industry collaborations in math-driven domains.Required Skills & QualificationsMust Haves:- Strong expertise in core Mathematics — Linear Algebra, Advanced Calculus, Probability & Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and Mathematical Foundations for Computer Science. - Proven experience in teaching and mentoring B.Tech students, especially in Computer Science–related contexts. - Demonstrated ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear, engaging, and application-oriented manner. - Experience in curriculum design and delivery using modern teaching methodologies. - Strong ability to connect mathematical theories with applications in AI/ML, Data Science, Optimization, and Algorithms. - Excellent communication, presentation, and student engagement skills.Good to Have:- Prior experience teaching at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in Mathematics (preferably in CS contexts). - Familiarity with AI/ML, Data Science, or Optimization. - Knowledge of tools like GeoGebra, Desmos, MATLAB, or Python. - Exposure to research or math-based software development.Perks and Benefits- Competitive salary packages aligned with industry standards. - Access to state-of-the-art labs and classroom facilities. - Opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge academic work in collaboration with Newton School of Technology. - Platform to mentor the next generation of tech-driven engineers and innovators
