Job Responsibilities :

Main Responsibilities :

- Provide support and maintenance for network alerts and/or customer incidents in accordance with SLAs / SLOs.

- Configure hardware and software to optimize network communication and platforms.

- Perform complex managed service-related tasks such as network troubleshooting, configuring, and troubleshooting customer LAN and WAN environments and account management requests; managing, configuring, and troubleshooting VPN Clients and protocols, routers, modems, and firewalls - i.e. Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.

- Manage and maintain network access control (NAC) systems, ensuring secure and compliant access across wired, wireless, and remote environments.

- Provide expert support for NAC-related issues, implementing and troubleshooting access policies to enhance security and user experience.

- Work with partners, vendors, and ISP carriers to provide a legendary customer experience.

- Work alongside the Customers to identify and implement new security tools & processes across the company.

- Perform day to day security system administrative tasks / log and alert review and response / access management.

- Contribute to design and architecture of systems to ensure security standards are met.

- Educate and mentor teams on proper secure practices and standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VPN solutions and facilitate secure remote access to network resources.

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in network security, continually assessing and enhancing our network defenses.

- Act as escalation point, provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Required Experience and Skills :

- University degree and/or IT Diploma from a recognized technical institution.

- Up to 5 years in a structured security environment where they establish and implement standard security processes, policies and procedures company wide.

- Competence to examine security from a holistic view, including threat modeling, risk, and vulnerability assessment.

- Experience with secure network technology (Firewall, IPS) and the implementation of networks and security within a cloud / cloud-hybrid environment.

- Proven experience implementing and managing network access control (NAC) policies, including troubleshooting and optimizing secure access.

- Experience with Aruba ClearPass is highly preferred.

- Hands-on experience managing wireless network environments and integrating them with NAC solutions.

- Experience with Aruba WiFi and Aruba Central is highly preferred.

- Knowledge and experience in Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Hybrid configurations, Office 365, Azure.

- Will consider applicants with AWS, or Google but Azure is what the client is currently utilizing.

- Experience with security standards, practices and audits required.

- Experience in the development of secure compute infrastructure and applications architecture.

- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, SSH, Telnet, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, OSPF, BGP, Spanning Tree, MPLS, SD-WAN, DMVPN, IPSEC and VPN Tunnel and other networking technologies.

- Experience working with security products such as firewalls, IDS devices and VPN's.

- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and fault isolation abilities including sniffing network data traffic using protocol analyzers.

- Experience with Network design, implementation, and management.

- Strong written/verbal English communication skills.

- Proven ability to manage change and changing priorities.

- Experience in a PCI environment would be an asset.

Nice to have Network Certifications : CCIE, CCNP-R&S, CCDP, CCNP-Security, ITIL, etc.

Nice to have Security Certifications : CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, GSEC etc.
