About the Role :


We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Python scripting to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The role involves working on data-intensive projects, building automation scripts, and ensuring high performance and accuracy across data systems.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL for analytics and reporting.

- Write efficient Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.

- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines to support business intelligence and data science teams.

- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and debugging to ensure scalability and efficiency.

- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Implement data quality checks and validation frameworks to maintain accuracy and integrity.

- Work on complete lifecycle of 23 data projects, from architecture to deployment.

- Explore and leverage AWS services such as Lambda and Step Functions for workflow automation (good to have).

Required Skills :


- Strong proficiency in SQL with 5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL.

- Proven experience (2+ years) in Python scripting for automation and data handling.

- Hands-on experience in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

- Expertise in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and data integrity principles.

- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting large-scale data systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills :


- Exposure to AWS cloud services such as Lambda, Step Functions, and S3.

- Familiarity with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
