We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Cloud Architect to join our team and lead the migration of our infrastructure from Azure to AWS. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable cloud solutions on AWS. This role combines strong technical expertise with leadership qualities to guide and mentor a team of cloud engineers.


Technical Skills Must Have :


- AWS Expertise (7+ Years) : Proven experience with a wide range of AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, database, security, and management services. In-depth understanding of AWS architectural best practices and design principles. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex AWS-related challenges.


- Hybrid Cloud Migration : Experience in migrating cloud environments from on-premises or other cloud platforms (like Azure) to AWS.


- Technical Programming Skills (Angular OR .NET) : Hands-on experience with either Angular or .NET frameworks for cloud application development (beneficial).


- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and translate them into optimal cloud solutions.


Leadership and Communication Skills :


- Team Leadership : Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of cloud engineers. Ability to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.


- Code Review and Optimization : Experience in reviewing code and suggesting best practices for clean, maintainable, and efficient cloud solutions.


- Mentorship : Ability to mentor junior team members and help them develop their cloud skills.


- Communication : Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to connect with clients regularly and clearly articulate business and technical considerations.


Additional Skills (Preferred) :


- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines).


- Experience with Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum).


- Familiarity with cloud management tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.


- Working knowledge of project management tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) and JIRA.


Responsibilities :


- Lead the migration of our infrastructure from Azure to AWS.


- Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud solutions on AWS.


- Troubleshoot and resolve complex AWS-related issues.


- Review code for best practices and suggest optimizations for cloud deployments.


- Set up, review, and refine the AWS environment based on migration needs.


- Guide the team through the migration process and ensure compliance with all standards.


- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the cloud engineering team.


- Regularly communicate with clients regarding the migration process and address their technical concerns.
