This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and complex data pipelines in the financial services industry, specifically in Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Asset Management.

As a Data Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, overseeing the development of data pipelines, data migration projects, and driving the adoption of modern data architectures. You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Engineering Leadership :

- Lead the development and optimization of ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, ensuring high performance and scalability.

- Design and implement data architecture strategies that optimize data flow, integration, and storage.

- Provide hands-on leadership in the creation and management of complex data workflows for ingestion, migration, and transformation.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines ensuring accurate and timely data delivery to internal stakeholders.

Snowflake Platform Expertise :

- Leverage Snowflake's capabilities (data sharing, secure views, etc.) to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based data architectures.

- Ensure Snowflake environment is optimized for performance, cost, and scalability.

- Collaborate with other teams to define and enforce best practices for Snowflake data structures, security, and data governance.

Team Collaboration & Offshore Management :

- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including both onshore and offshore development teams, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members to foster skill development and improve team performance.

Data Integration and Transformation :

- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes that handle data integration and transformation from multiple sources.

- Work with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the data is available, accurate, and actionable.

- Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure data consistency, reliability, and performance.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and communicate technical solutions in a clear and understandable manner.

- Provide regular updates and documentation on the progress of ongoing projects and initiatives.

Security & Data Governance :

- Enforce best practices in data security and governance, ensuring that sensitive financial data is handled according to industry regulations and standards.

- Work with the security team to ensure that data sharing and access controls are in place.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering, data cloud technologies, and financial services trends.

- Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, tools, and techniques to deliver better and faster results.
