Description :Position Overview :We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 9-12 years of work experience in data science, with a proven track record of leading successful data science projects and teams. As the Lead Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of advanced data analytics solutions to solve complex business problems.Responsibilities :- Lead a team of data scientists and analysts to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables- Develop and Execute technical strategies and progress updates to stakeholders and executive leadership- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists and analysts to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, and evaluate their potential impact on our business- Lead the evaluation of new AI tools, frameworks, and methodologies, advocating for the adoption of technologies that align with our strategic goalsQualifications :- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred- Minimum of 9-12 years of professional experience in data science or related fields- Proven experience leading data science projects from inception to delivery, with a strong focus on business impact and value creation- Expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling techniques- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries- Experience with machine learning frameworks and platforms- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
