Job Title : Endpoint Engineer

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

• Administer the endpoint management platform, including agent deployment and reporting, software deployment, patch management, and endpoint compliance
• Creating all the necessary documentation for any changes in the environment or new technologies being introduced in the environment.
• Coordinate with the Service Desk team on enterprise-wide deployment actions and resolving endpoint management agent issues
• Ensure software packages and patches are deployed efficiently and as transparently as possible
• Coordinate with appropriate resources to ensure that endpoint assets are in compliance with Information security policies and standards
• Use scripting and tools to automate operational activities, tasks, system builds and changes in the environment (PowerShell, VBScript. Etc.)
• Strong analytic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong drive to self-learn new technologies
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Strong decision-making, prioritization, and negotiation skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and negotiation)
• Ability to weigh various suggested technical solutions against the original business needs and choose the most cost-effective solution.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information in a concise and articulate manner
• Develop relationships with peer groups, and business unit to stay current with technology

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Expertise in Microsoft and/or Mac OS operating systems including developing standardized deployment and configuration in an enterprise
• 8+ years experience using endpoint management technologies such as Entra ID, Active Directory, Office365, GPOs, JAMF, and Intune
• Expertise in automating all aspects of endpoint management using scripting tools, APIs, workflow management tools, etc. Expertise in broad array of scripting languages and automation tools
• Expertise with OS security hardening and methods for evaluating and applying security standards to endpoints

Skills Requirements

• Expert on MEM/Intune administration and software packaging
• Expert on writing VBScript and PowerShell scripts
• Expert on Azure Active Directory administration
• Expert on Intune polices administration
• Expert on Active Directory GPO administration
• Expert at Windows OS install and configuration
• Expert at providing 3rd level Endpoint Support for Windows 10/11 and Mac OS

Desired:

• VMWare Horizon VDI deployment and administration experience
• Azure Virtual Desktop deployment and administration experience
• Experience creating and maintaining Windows 10 image
• Windows Hello for Business deployment and administration experience
• Windows 11 with Autopilot deployment and administration experience
• Mac OS MDM management using JAMF
• Zscaler technology experience
• Nexthink technology experience
