SAP Tester

About the Role : We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Tester with proven experience in end-to-end functional, integration, and regression testing across multiple SAP modules, including SD, MM, PP, QM, FI/CO, HR, and SuccessFactors.The ideal candidate will have deep functional understanding, strong testing expertise, and hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA environments, including Fiori and embedded analytics validation.As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of SAP systems across implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.You will work closely with functional, technical, and business teams to define comprehensive test strategies, automate test scenarios, and ensure seamless integration across SAP and non-SAP systems.Key Responsibilities :- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents to identify test scenarios.- Design and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for all SAP modules.- Define test coverage, entry/exit criteria, and risk-based testing approaches.- Participate in test strategy meetings and collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and developers.- Perform end-to-end testing across multiple SAP modules, including:SD (Sales & Distribution)MM (Materials Management)PP (Production Planning)QM (Quality Management)FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)HR / HCMSuccessFactors (Employee Central, Performance, Recruiting)- Execute manual and automated test cases for:Integration Testing (SIT)Regression TestingUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)System Testing & Smoke Testing- Validate data migration and interfaces (IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, BDCs, OData, APIs).- Conduct Fiori App Testing and validate embedded analytics reports in SAP S/4HANA.- Verify end-to-end business process flows and ensure data consistency across modules.- Validate integration with non-SAP systems such as CRM, Ariba, Concur, Salesforce (SFDC), and other third-party applications.- Conduct interface testing for inbound and outbound data flows via PI/PO, CPI, API, and IDOC channels.- Perform E2E data validation across SAP ECC / S/4HANA and external systems.- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using :SAP CBTA (Component-Based Test Automation)Worksoft CertifySelenium / UFT / Micro Focus ALM (as applicable)- Automate regression test suites for recurring business scenarios.- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to validate system scalability and reliability.- Work with Basis and Security teams to perform Authorization / Role-based testing.- Validate S/4HANA performance optimization in collaboration with technical teams.- Create, manage, and maintain all test documentation, including :Test PlansTest Case RepositoriesTest Results ReportsTraceability Matrices (RTM)Defect Reports and Closure Summaries- Log and track defects using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, HP ALM, or SAP Solution Manager Test Suite.- Ensure proper defect lifecycle management, from identification to resolution and retesting.- Participate in cutover activities, validating business processes during go-live.- Conduct post-production verification to ensure stability of deployed SAP functionalities.- Provide hypercare support to business users during transition periods.Technical Skills & Tools :- SAP Testing Expertise- Strong functional knowledge of core SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, QM, FI/CO, HR, SuccessFactors).- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA testing, including Fiori apps and embedded analytics.- Hands-on experience with IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, BDC, OData, and API-based integrations.- Familiarity with SAP Upgrade Testing, Data Migration Testing, Authorization/Security Testing, and Regression Testing.- Knowledge of E2E business processes like Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R).- Automation & Test Management Tools- Automation Tools: Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, CBTA, Selenium, UFT.- Test Management: HP ALM / Quality Center, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager Test Suite, ServiceNow.- CI/CD Integration: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.- Defect Tracking: JIRA, Bugzilla, or ALM (ref:hirist.tech)
