Purpose of Role
He/She will be responsible for leading end - end fund raising activities, preparing and monitoring of cash flows and compliance to develop and implement comprehensive investor relations strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and fund-raising goals.
Experience & Qualification
CA (rank holder) or MBA Finance- from Tier 1 institute with at least 10-15 years of experience working in corporate finance, investment banking, financial advisory, financial & investor relationship management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- To build and develop a world class investor relations capability, working according to a defined strategy.
- To create the basis for sustained enhancement of the Company’s investor (and other stakeholders’) relationships, through a program of regular communication to maintain and strengthen the Company’s profile.
- Competitor and peer-group analyses; shareholder and bond holder identification.
- Attend key investor/analyst/journalist meetings, where appropriate with CEO and/or CFO and other Executive Directors.
- Developing tools, reports, models, work plans and checklists and managing client relationships.
- Participating in business development activities with a target of introducing new client prospects, attending industry events, and cross-selling other company services.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company, representing our interests and conveying our value proposition to the investment community through meetings, presentations, and other channels.
Leading the entire fund raise activities :
- Strategy for market reach out, financial models, marketing materials.
- Coordinating with external bankers and other stakeholders (especially diligence advisors).
- Engaging with different investors during the process.
- Building the network of potential target investors (either directly or through intermediaries) and relationships will be of the corporate finance function.
Investor Relations :
- Corporate finance should be able to interact with the investors and take ownership of constant reporting – work on building a consensus and internal systems to ensure periodic issuance of the reports.
- Corporate finance willing to interact and reply to investor queries, regular target investor updates & engagements.
Analytics, especially re critical model drivers :
- Understanding and tracking critical drivers of the business model – not only internal looking but also industry bench marking.
- Should act as critical input into capital allocation and tracking ROCE, ROI etc.

- Knowledge and experience in Investors relations/ Financial Markets /Capital Markets /
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to see bigger picture and contribute.
- Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level.
- Demonstrate leadership skills & proactive approach to tasks assigned.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management & Team Management skills
- Good negotiation & influencing skills.
