Mashreq - Senior Manager - Finance Tech - Regulatory Platform

- Responsible for managing Finance Technology, deliver all key initiatives including Projects and application enhancements that has key influence on bank's topmost management decision making process.- Position holder will be responsible for overseeing Planning, Budgeting and forecasting platforms.- This role requires a strong understanding of financial consolidation, FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing) calculation, cost allocation, ECL (Expected Credit Loss) calculation, and advanced planning mechanisms.- Additionally, the candidate should possess hands-on experience with AI/Gen AI applications in planning modules, along with a robust background in finance and banking.- This role holder is also responsible for performing Business Engagement to help achieve business aspirations & needs.- He/she will be responsible managing existing systems daily, Monthly, Quarterly, and annual regulatory system processing.- Position Holder will be responsible Managing Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting platforms - IBM Advance Planning Analytics and / or Oracle EPM product suite.- Responsible to Plan, execute and manage all Technology deliverables to business.- Manage internal/External Audits of the unit and ensure satisfactory rating is achieved.- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including finance, IT, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery.- Oversee vendor management, ensuring that service levels and contractual obligations are met.- Lead the implementation of Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting solutions using IBM Planning Analytics and/or Oracle EPM product suite financial consolidation which forms banks' balance sheet.- Build and implement planning applications integration with OFSAA platform.- Develop, test, and maintain Finance modules which includes Revenue/Sale, Capex, Opex, HC, PFT, Cost allocation, FTP and ECL calculations.- Train end-users and prepare user documentation to facilitate efficient adoption of Budgeting and Forecasting systems.- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, or related field.- A master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.- A minimum of 12 years of experience in the banking domain, with a focus on finance and financial systems.- Proven experience in implementing and managing Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting solutions in large banking institutions.- Strong knowledge of financial consolidation, FTP calculation, cost allocation, ECL calculation, and advanced planning mechanisms.- Hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics and/or Oracle EPM product suite.- Experience in AI/Gen AI applications within planning modules.- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.- Strong stakeholder management and vendor management skills.- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.- Extensive experience in leading and managing a team, with a strong track record of achieving results.- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to handle a significant budget and ensure financial prudence.- Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and business users.- Experience in managing finance technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.- The leading financial institution in MENA.
