The Taxation Consultant will play a crucial role in Sirius Digitech, ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, including GST. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and will possess in-depth knowledge of taxation compliances, direct taxes, indirect taxes, and GST.


Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in taxation, with a focus on direct and indirect taxes, GST, and compliance.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the company's tax compliance processes, ensuring adherence to all direct and indirect tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates, and reports on a regular basis.
  • Provide support during tax audits and assessments, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to address any queries or concerns.
  • Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, implementing any necessary changes to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tax advice and support on business transactions and initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis on tax issues, providing recommendations and solutions to management as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with tax authorities and represent the company during tax inspections and inquiries.


Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in taxation or related field (preferred).


Certification required:

  • Professional certification in taxation (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
